For many years now, I've been wanting to get my life down on paper. Open up my mind and let history flow out into the world, so lets get started...,
We, as humans, keep a lot inside to keep up appearances. We do this to avoid others asking us the most annoying question of all, "What's wrong?" I mean, don't you just hate that question? I do. In those two little words, depending on the person asking of coarse, I feel even worse than what I did before they asked it. It shows me that they haven't been paying very much attention to notice 'What's wrong' with me in the first place. Some times it's not so obvious, other times it's 'In your face' obvious, but in the end, it doesn't matter. You don't want to be asked, "What's wrong", you want to be told "I'm here for you".
And so we begin with the fair tale opening - "Once Upon a Time..."
Be warned however that this is not a Fairy Tale. These blogs that are about to be released are nothing but pure truth.
I'm taking the time to write them today, tomorrow and the following days, not just for my benefit to "Get it all out there", but to hopefully let someone know who's going through the same thing, that they're not alone out there. Maybe that person is you today, and if you are, I welcome you. I want you to know that you do not suffer alone, and I AM here for you, so please feel free to comment here at any time. If you need to vent, if you want to talk, if you want to let what's bugging you flow out onto this page, then do so. I am here for you.
So lets get down to the basics... why did I choose such a Fairy Tale line, rather than something more down to earth? Simple, the truth is STRANGER than fiction. Example: If I told you that Dolphins could fly, you'd probably laugh... but if you walked outside and saw a Dolphin flying, you'd want to tell someone, but... no one would believe you unless they saw it themselves.
Truth is, you would know it is true, because you saw it, you witnessed it with your own eyes, but it would be so strange and so outrageous, if you tried to tell the story to someone else, they'd walk away laughing saying "There's no way that's true." But you know it would be, so what do you do now?
This is much like what I'm going through, and what I have gone through all my life. I was told a lot that "There's no way she'd do that, that doesn't make sense." or "There's no way you saw that, no body acts like that." But the fact is, I did hear these things in my life, I did see these things in my life, and I have LIVED through them, and although I'd like to think I'm the only one who's ever gone through it, unfortunately, in the world we live in these days, it's not uncommon.
So again I thank you, for taking a minute out of your life to read a little bit about mine and if you need a friend to vent to, a shoulder to cry on, or just want to take a quick read into another's life,
I am here for you.
